Love and Marriage

As we have already discussed, public love is a great virtue that can earn spiritual merit,
while personal love is an emotion. Whether public or personal, true love
must be accompanied by peace and true peace must be accompanied by love.
If one factor is missing, so is the other.

Natural love among people is harmonizing, peaceful and never demanding. Once
we have achieved the goal of love, we have also reached the truth. Unfortunately,
many people prefer to add spice or artificial colors to their love life and thus ruin
the peaceful support of natural love. Similarly, cultures often promote and impose
an artificial love that expresses the prevailing harshness in those societies.
Unnaturally imposed love is unhealthy, and its fulfillment usually involves some form of entrapment.
